Our specially designed Kids Activity Programs and Birthday Parties are very popular at Gunnamatta Trail Rides

Kids Activity Programs

Gunnamatta Trail Rides offers a morning and an afternoon 3 Hour program plus an All Day Program. Programs run every Saturday and Mondays to Saturdays during school holidays. The Morning Program runs from 10am to 1pm and the All Day program runs from 10am to 4.30pm.

Programs are suitable for ages 6+ years and no experience is necessary. Kids often develop their love of horses from our Gunnamatta Trail Rides Kids Program.

What's Included:

Lessons, Bush Rides & Fun Activities

Every Kids Program includes a group riding lesson on one of our arenas, a trail ride and various activities which may include tack and equipment lessons, washing & grooming of horses, general horse care and gymkhana games. All fun activities and we split the kids in to similar age groups.
Your children will have lots of fun while learning specific knowledge and skills about horse riding, safety & horse management. Bring your child's favorite lunch including a drink and a morning and/or afternoon snack. Drinks and chips etc are available from our kiosk.
Bookings: Numbers are limited and we book out at busy times so we strongly recommend booking in advance. Programs run on Saturdays and on every day during School Holidays.

Morning session 10.00am - 1.00pm Cost per child - $80

Afternoon session 1.30pm - 4.30pm Cost per child - $ 80

All Day Program 10.00 am - 4.30 pm Cost - $130 per child

Kids Birthday Parties

Gunnamatta Trail Rides offers special Kids Parties with a minimum of 6 kids

The Birthday Parties run for one and a half hours and are suitable for ages 6+ years. No experience with horses is necessary.

The cost is $55 per child and the activities include 30 minutes brushing ponies, a 30 minute group lesson on horse back and 30 minutes of games with ponies in arena

A party room is available for 1 hour after the horse activities at no additional cost. After this a room hire charge of $50 per hour is applicable. The party kids cannot party in the customer's reception area.

These parties are really popular with the kids.
